The CBAB - CROP BREEDING AND APPLIED BIOTECHNOLOGY is the official quarterly journal created in 2001 by Brazilian Association of Plant Breeding .It aims to publish original scientific articles, only in English, which contribute to the scientific and technological development of plant breeding and agriculture.CBAB publishes, besides articles, other text forms, such as Review, Notes, Plant breeding programs, Release of cultivars, Book review, Viewpoint and Letters, all of them in English language and equally subjected to the discretion of ad hoc reviewers.

CBAB -作物育種和應用生物技術是巴西植物育種協會于2001年創辦的官方季刊。它的目標是發表只有英文的原創科學文章，為植物育種和農業的科技發展做出貢獻。除了文章外，CBAB還出版其他文本形式，如評論、注釋、植物育種計劃、品種發布、書評、觀點和信件，所有這些都是用英語出版的，并同樣受到臨時審稿人的自由裁量權。
