Iranian Journal of Public Health has been continuously published since 1971, as the only Journal in all health domains in Iran with distribution abroad (including WHO in Geneva and Cairo) in two languages (English and Persian). During the last 34 years more than 1000 scientific research papers, results of health activities, surveys and services in Iran, have been published in this Journal. From 2001 issue, the Journal is published only in English language. The main topics that the Journal would welcome are: Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Human Ecology, Occupational Health, Medical Parasitology and Mycology, Environmental Health and Engineering (air, water and solid wastes, radiation), Virology, Immunology, Bacteriology, Nutrition and Biochemistry, Entomology, (Lishmaniosis, Malaria), Human and Medical Genetics (Community Genetics, Population Genetics, Cytogenetics, Oncogenetics, Molecular Genetics and Ethics), Public Health Services (Health Education, Health Service Management, Mother & Child Health).

《伊朗公共衛生雜志》自1971年以來一直持續出版，是伊朗所有衛生領域中唯一一份以英語和波斯語(包括世衛組織在日內瓦和開羅)兩種語言在國外發行的雜志。在過去的34年里，超過1000篇科學研究論文、伊朗的健康活動、調查和服務的結果發表在這本雜志上。自2001年起，該雜志僅以英文出版。《日刊》歡迎的主要議題是:流行病學、生物統計學、人類生態學、職業衛生、醫學寄生蟲學和真菌學,環境衛生和工程(空氣、水和固體廢物、輻射),病毒學,免疫學、細菌學、營養和生物化學,昆蟲學,(Lishmaniosis、瘧疾),人類與醫學遺傳學(Oncogenetics群體遺傳學、群體遺傳學、細胞遺傳學,分子遺傳學和道德),公共衛生服務(健康教育、衛生服務管理、母親和兒童健康)。
