The Journal of Microencapsulation is a well-established journal devoted to the preparation, properties and uses of individually encapsulated small particles. Its scope extends beyond microcapsules to all other small particulate systems which involve preparative manipulation. These forms find a wide variety of medical, biological, industrial and research applications. The journal covers the chemistry of encapsulation materials; the physics of release through the capsule wall; the techniques of preparation; content and storage; and the many uses to which microcapsules are put.
